World at Crossroads: From Scenarios to Action
The RESPACE Dialogue Inputs are short summaries and discussions that address complex global, regional, and translocal developments occurring up to May 2025. With these dialogue inputs, we invite you to explore how today’s events are shaping the futures of peace and global collaboration. Each input turns the lens of the RESPACE scenarios toward current developments, showing that these futures are not abstract possibilities but emerging realities.
Designed to spark reflection, inspire conversation, and encourage action, the inputs follow a simple three-step model: (1) Summary, (2) Scenario Parallels or Contrasts, and (3) Discussion Questions. This format can be applied to any context, from neighbourhood issues to global crises, to helping connect local experiences with wider trends. We invite you to use, adapt, and create your own Dialogue Inputs in meetings, workshops, or daily reflections. There are no fixed answers, only better questions: questions that help us think ahead, collaborate meaningfully, and imagine more peaceful futures together.
